Mainly looking down

Ever feel you ought to live somewhere more photogenic?

“There’s nothing to photograph where I live” are common words I often hear, and I also hear words of wisdom from fellow photographers who say “look at the familiar with new eyes as there are images everywhere”.

One day during lockdown I wandered around Warboys with a pinhole camera loaded with some Ektar.

Not the greatest images in the world but I had a lot of fun and it helped me hone my eye whilst surrounded by the familiar.

  1. Really nice stuff Andrew. I always espouse that there are good photos to be had anywhere – even in the most boring of locations – it’s just a matter of finding them. I think your use of low vantage points here demonstrates this admirably.
